We would like to warmly welcome you to our workshop “Climate Adaptation Strategies for Fehmarn” on Friday, September 25th, 2020 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm in the conference room (room 38) of the administration building of the city of Fehmarn (Bahnhofstr. 5 – 23769).
In the 3-hour workshop we would like to discuss with you and other experts about the development of tourism under climate change conditions and also share the results of the Soclimpact research project (www.soclimpact.net), which has covered numerous European islands over the past three years, including Fehmarn.
Furthermore, we would like to draw on your expertise in the areas of the environment, climate and tourism, what is happening on the island in general in order to evaluate adaptation options and to discuss how Fehmarn can better position itself in the face of future crises. Your knowledge and assessments will help us and the other Soclimpact partner organizations to develop a Europe-wide adaptation strategy.
You can find a more detailed agenda here.
In view of the distance rules, the number of participants is limited by the size of the room. We would therefore like to ask you to register online soon, and to let us know if you should be prevented later.
