Loreta specialises in circular economy, reusable and reuse systems, as well as education for sustainable development. At the Baltic Environmental Forum, she leads projects and activities related to sustainable consumption and resource conservation and coordinates the organisation’s team on plastic reduction and circular economy. Previously, she worked in sustainability management at Hamburg’s public waste management service, where she focused, among other topics, on sustainability reporting. In addition, she is actively involved in the NGO Zero Waste Hamburg e. V., advocating for waste prevention and resource-conscious lifestyles.

What is most important to me about my job? Working with people and being able to teach them something that will leave a lasting impression on them for the rest of their lives. Taking responsibility for future-oriented and socially relevant topics such as climate protection – that is exactly my passion. I am a networker who designs and implements concepts. My strength is tying many threads together. As a project manager with strong communication skills, I burn for my heart’s issues. That’s why it’s easy for me to win over supporters in order to shape a good future together.
