I have always been interested in our environment – especially in animals. In addition, school has made me aware of environmental and climate policy issues. As I learned about it, I have found it alarming how we are destroying our planet. Because, by doing so we are not only harming nature but also all living creatures – including ourselves. That is why I want to take responsibility for my actions and make them sustainable. My Voluntary Ecological Year “FÖJ” at BEF gives me the opportunity to do this beyond my everyday life. I am especially happy about being able to motivate others about environmental protection – because, we can only achieve something together.
