Sara Lohse completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and continued her studies with a master’s degree in environmental psychology.

Through my work at the Baltic Environmental Forum Germany, I want to raise awareness of more sustainable consumption and use of resources among the population. I am firmly convinced that sustainable change can only be achieved together and that a lot can be achieved through pressure from the civilian population towards greater sustainability. I am particularly interested in questions such as: Why do some people behave sustainably and others don’t? What are the motivations behind sustainable behavior? And how can we motivate people to behave more sustainably?
