The Baltic Environmental Forum Deutschland e.V. is working as a partner in the EU project KNOWING Climate to not only understand the consequences of climate change, but also to develop concrete solutions for it. In close cooperation with municipalities, authorities, companies, and other experts, we translate scientific findings and local knowledge into practical action strategies.
An important part of this work is our Playful Trainings. These are interactive workshops where participants don’t just talk, they actually try things out: they slip into different roles, play through scenarios, and discuss together which measures could be most effective in certain situations. Some exercises are surprising, which is exactly what they are meant to be.
The format is flexible. Whether for administrative staff, business experts, or representatives of civil society: the content and schedule can be adapted to the target group, workshop objectives, and regional characteristics. This creates learning spaces where new ideas emerge, decisions become clearer, and complex information can be more easily translated into action.
With Playful Trainings, we want to bring together people who want to make a difference in climate adaptation—and give them the tools they need to do so.
