Lars studied foreign language philology and has many years of experience in communication, educational work, and project management. Before joining the Baltic Environmental Forum e. V. (BEF), he worked, amongst other roles, as a language trainer for German and Russian as foreign languages and for several years as a Senior Online Editor in the e-learning sector. Since April 2024, he has been working at BEF as a PR and Communications Manager. In this role, he is responsible for project-related public relations work in the field of environmental protection, develops information and awareness campaigns, and manages the association’s websites and social media channels. Additionally, he contributes his expertise in intercultural communication, sustainability, and diversity to the association’s work. His professional knowledge has been further enhanced through advanced training in climate protection management, CSR and sustainability management, and education for sustainable development. Beyond his professional activities, he is also actively involved in various environmental organizations on a voluntary basis.
