Projects on nature conservation have a long tradition and are an important constituent of the work of the BEF Group. Amongst others, BEF implemented projects on the conservation of boreal forest, on protection of endangered species or on projecting the Baltic Sea . Waterlogging and grassland extensification in Lower Saxony to improve habitats of the Corncrake and the Black-tailed Godwit The goal of this project is to protect the corncrake (crex crex) and the black-tailed godwit (limosa limosa) by waterlogging and grassland extensification. BEF Germany will take over communication tasks (study on public acceptance of conservation measures) and contribute to the visibility of the project. | 11/2011 - 2020 |
